Last night was a special night for the kids from the Children’s Home! A huge thank you to Farmer John and all the staff at Farmer John’s Restaurant for graciously hosting our kids and treating them to a wonderful night out on the town.

The children enjoyed delicious, sweet corn on the cob, chicken wings, and soft drinks. But the food was only part of the fun! The kids spent the evening laughing, playing checkers, Connect Four, tic-tac-toe, and other table games. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces and hear so much laughter. They were simply happy to be there and enjoyed every minute of it.

By the time we got back to the orphanage, it was a little later than we had planned. But this morning, every child was up on time, dressed, and ready to roll for school! No complaints, no sleepy heads, just a bunch of happy campers with great memories from a fantastic night.

Thank you, Farmer John, for your kindness, generosity, and for making our children feel so loved. It was a great party enjoyed by all, and we are truly grateful!
