David Desir is now 9 years old. He is such an unusual little guy. He was born into a poor family of seven children, and little David was number eight. They could not afford to feed him. A kind neighbor took him in, but after a while, she could not afford to feed him either. She asked the Dept. of Social Services to take him, so he ended up with us!

We love David. He is strong, and he is a “tough little guy!” He is very aggressive on the soccer field, and he plays “with the big boys” and holds his own! I have always thought that if he had the right “open door” and training, he could be Haiti’s first soccer star!!

David does well in school, but he loves to work! He will do any job and do it better than the rest of the boys!!

We love David! He has a sweet smile, even though he is a “tough little guy!”
