Jonas Alce is growing up fast! We found him when he was a baby in the mountains of Demesseau during a Mobile Medical Clinic. His mother had died shortly after childbirth, and his poor father brought him to us while our team was there. It is seldom that we ever see a father cry, giving away his child. But this father “sobbed,” so loudly, we were all crying.
Jonas has always been sweet and kind. He loves mechanic work and wants to be a “professional” first-class mechanic. He will be going to the Dominican Republic tomorrow with one of our drivers to find a good mechanic school. We will also need an apartment for him and his other brothers. (The mechanic school in Haiti is in a gang infested area.) Please remember these children in your prayers. If you want to help Jonas financially with his mechanic school, we will know the cost soon.
God bless you,
Sherry
