HUNGRY CHILDREN FED: THANK YOU!

In severe cases of malnutrition, particularly a condition called Kwashiorkor, a child’s hair can appear reddish or blonde due to a lack of pigment production, which is a sign of severe protein deficiency and is often seen as a warning sign of critical starvation; essentially, malnutrition can cause a change in hair color, sometimes appearing reddish in affected children.

In the south of Haiti, in a remote area called “Remond,” Love A Child found more starving children than many of the areas we have seen in a very long time. This weekend, we were honored to prepare and serve 143 hot, nutritious meals to some of the most feeble and hungry children we could imagine! Thank you for praying, and thank you for helping us be the hand of Christ to the children of Haiti!
