Wilguens is quite different than all the other boys. Most children who lost a mother and whose father deserted them would have emotional problems. He and his sister suffered days without food and love…Wilguens survived. He and his sister were brought to us by someone at Social Services. Wilguens is like a turtle, slow-moving but methodic!

He is quiet and thinks about things all the time, and he is a good worker!!! He does excellent in school and loves to play soccer, and has a lot of wisdom! The kids call him a nickname that means, “grandpa!” He is very low-key and a sweet young boy!

We all love “Grandpa Wilguens!”
