She and two other siblings, Raphael and Bianca, were all brought here one day by their aunt when they were very small. We were told that both parents died when trying to get to the states in a small boat.

Whether that part was true or not, we don’t know, but took all three children in. They were so sweet!

Ada is 16 and in 10th grade! She has her own personality! She is talented, loves “Praise Dancing.” But, she also has an awesome voice! We can hear her when she leads the worship in the children’s service at night. The kids say she is “super sweet,” but “don’t touch her stuff!” (I don’t blame her for that!)

She is kind, hard-working, and helpful! She loves most food but doesn’t like the Haitian “mayi,” (cooked, grinder corn). So far, her plans are to be a doctor. She always dresses in the “latest kid’s fashion!” (Which is tucking in one side and leaving the other out!) We love Ada and we know she will go far in her life!!
