With hearts overflowing with joy and thunderous applause, we celebrate that 289 prisoners at the Anse à Veau Civil Prison received not just physical food for their bodies — but the life-changing Word of God for their souls.

For nearly two years, these prisoners endured unimaginable suffering. Many were literally dying of hunger — 2 to 3 souls passing away each day because there was simply no food. The pain was heartbreaking.

But God moved! Since Love A Child and our faithful donors stepped in to feed two prisons in the South — Anse à Veau (289 prisoners) and Petit Goâves (703 prisoners) — everything has changed.

No more deaths from starvation.

Lives are being saved daily.

And best of all — many prisoners are coming to Christ and experiencing true freedom in their hearts.

Inside Anse à Veau alone, there are 19 women and 14 children under 18 years old. Vulnerable, forgotten, and now being cared for.

None of this would be possible without you — our incredible donors and friends of Love A Child. Because of your compassion, we are feeding approximately 1,000 prisoners every single day.
