Daniel is 16 and in the tenth grade. He is the twin to “Daniella,” his sister. Sixteen years ago, a poor woman went to the General Hospital to give birth. She may not have known she was going to have “triplets.” When she went to the “poor people’s hospital, the General Hospital,” she was met at the gate with men with guns. They told her to leave. There had been a lot of “political trouble,” and armed men were everywhere. This poor woman left to go back to her simple “home” and try to deliver her babies. She lost one baby, then gave birth to Daniel and Daniella, and then died!

The uncle of the children brought the two tiny infants to us. Daniella is beautiful and demure. She could be a model. She is sweet, kind, and quiet. Daniel is quiet too… He is like the “invisible teen.” I can never find him. He is almost invisible! He has a few more years to go before graduating, but so far, he wants to be an electrical engineer… but that may change.

Both of these teens are so sweet and love the Lord. God’s hand is upon Daniel and his sister. Did I mention that he “loves his sister more than anything in the world?” He is always holding her hand, talking to her… precious children! We love Daniel and his sister, Daniella!
