Yolanda… This sweet girl is now 17, “going on 50!” Her wisdom and character are far beyond her young age! She was born in the mountains of Haiti, Covant, which is the toughest place we have ever been. Her mother died when she was a baby and her father made the long trip down the mountain with the infant in his arms!!

We have many wonderful children at our Orphanage, but this girl is “my right arm.” I can trust her to do the grocery shopping at the market or find “a brother who can drive,” and take her to Farmer John’s to get meat. She is the one who makes sure the children have food (they eat a LOT of bread!). Her greatest fear is that her siblings will “run out of deodorant!!” Ha! She loves soccer, music, and puzzles! She loves the dance team!!! But most of all, she loves Jesus! And, He loves her!! We are blessed!
