Davidson is just one out of our “three sets of twins” here at our Love A Child Children’s Home. He and his twin brother, David, were brought to us on Christmas Eve by their elderly “Grandma Noel” and another relative. (How’s that for a Christmas story in March?!)

They came from one of the highest mountains in Haiti. Their mother died during childbirth and their father could not care for them. I named this young man, “Jonathan,” so I could have “David and Jonathan” twins. But when we filed the birth certificate, they insisted on a name that had the word “David” in it, because they were twins! So “Jonathan is now Davidson!”

We sent him to college here in Haiti and he finished one year of cinematography before the gangs took over the street where the college is! He had to come back home, along with the other college kids. He loves basketball, soccer, and any kind of sport. We are trying to find another college for him! He is “always happy!”
