Looking at this handsome young boy, age 12, you would never believe where he came from. Stephano is 12 years old and always, always has a huge smile on his face… Always! He has “bright eyes” and is always looking to help anyone do anything.

When Stephano was born, his father abandoned him, leaving him with a mother who, not long after he was born, had gotten into trouble. She was put in prison here in Haiti for years, but even when she was released, she could not take care of her son. She began to have severe mental problems. That is when the Department of Social Services brought him to us. He was about two years old when they brought him to us. This young, sweet boy loves to play soccer, sing, and he is always joking! I don’t think I have ever seen him “without his smile!” Stephano doesn’t yet know what he wants to be, but he can be whatever he puts his mind to!! We are blessed to have him in our lives, and we all love Stephano! Sherry
