Look who we ran into in the village of “Po Glacie!”

This is the Dorissaint family!

This is an amazing story… Several days ago, we took food for all the families in the village of “Po Glacie,” across from the lake. We also had to take many boxes of food to cook for the children. We had “never received a welcome” like this one!! When the people saw our boats, they started singing, shouting and dancing!!!!

Most all these people knew us because we used to give out food to their village… But the gangs ran them out and took over their homes…

As we walked around the village, this one family came to us with “a wedding album!” Inside were pictures of this couple, “Mr. and Mrs. Dorissaint,” who got married “in our church here in Fond Parisien” in 2006! We married sixteen couples that day!!

They showed us their wedding album and pictures of Sherry and I. They had 11 children; two died, and they have nine left!!!

The Haitians have a Creole Proverb that says, “What you don’t know is bigger than you!!” And it certainly was!!
