Today, Philemond, our driver, is headed to the Dominican Republic, with Jasson, one of our LAC children.

Many of you know that we found Jasson during a Mobile Medical Clinic in Savaan Pit. He had a huge swollen belly due to Kwashiorkor Malnutrition, so we brought him Love A Child. But, his Kwashiorkor had already affected his kidneys.

We have been taking him back and forth to the DR, (a long 8-hour trip) to a pediatric kidney specialist. Jesse Ostrander, who is our right-hand missionary, found this specialist for Jasson.

Jesse will fly in and meet Jasson and go to the doctor with him. The doctors have Jasson on a special diet and LOTS of vitamins and medications.

They are trying to postpone Jasson from going on dialysis. This is tough for kids. But, we still believe in God for a miracle.
