At 8:00 a.m., Philemond, our driver (yellow shirt), already had the Love A Child van loaded up and ready to go! He will pick up two of our nurses, who take care of Jackson’s dialysis each night and they will also be taking care of Job (tall boy), who will be seeing a specialist about his leg. He slipped and fell in the shower some time ago, now, his leg from his knee down is twisted, swollen, and in great pain. He can barely walk. With them is Pastor Luders, of our Love A Child Church. He had a severe throat problem and had not been able to preach or use his voice much at all.
When traveling with Jackson, we have to take his dialysis machine, all the dialysis bags, his “special foods,” and a nurse to go with him, even for a check-up (which he will have tomorrow). They will meet with Jesse Ostrander, who arranges all their appointments and makes sure they get good care. Without Jesse’s help, none of this would be possible.
For all these medical needs and more, we have had to rent an apartment in the D.R. But we know God will provide what is needed for these precious children. Thank you so much for your prayers, your support, and your love.
