When we first began our ministry, we were preaching on street corners and borrowing chairs from “The Funeral Home!”

We had two small children and many times we did not have much to eat. I recorded our offerings as: $3.50, $5.00, etc… Each night, we were hoping and praying for enough for food and gas money to get to the next town. We always thought, “Lord, We’d like to give to the poor, but, we’re poor ourselves!”

But that was the wrong way to think! Things began to change when we began to sacrifice and give to the Lord.

It did not happen overnight, but slowly, we began to “give our way out!” One night, we went to a Gospel Tent Meeting, we had $100. But as the offering plate went by, God said, “Give your all!” Bobby dropped in that $100 bill, and the devil said, “You will go broke.” Then the Lord said, “Give and I bless you!” God said, “I will make you the head; and not the tail!” Deuteronomy 28:13

Today, God wants His children to be the “head” and “not the tail! “ Try God! He never fails!
