Today we started another session of our 3-week sustainable agriculture training course at our Agricultural Training Center (ATC) with 7 new students who have come from different areas around Haiti.

This course is very popular because it gives important training for how Haitian families can have successful gardens to provide their own food. Two of the students are from a Haitian community group from St. Marc, FONDICHA. They are so happy and proud that their students could attend, thanks to scholarships provided by our donors.

For the next 3 weeks, these students will learn, work, and live at our ATC. When they return home they will be leaders to teach others how to have sustainable gardens and fruit trees. What a blessing it is that four other organizations working in Haiti and some of our donors could make it possible for these students to take this training. As they say in Haiti, “sa se chemin la vie pi bon.” This is the path to a better life. Amen.
