This is Madamn Antoine. She is from the mountains of Peyi Pouri, very far away, and she showed up at our Birthing Center “without being in the program.” It is important for these poor mothers to come “every month,” so that our OB/GYN and midwives can determine if there will be “complications.”

However, “babies come when they want to.” We had no time to send her to a Maternity Hospital, so a baby girl was born! The midwives had a hard time getting the baby to breathe! But they did, with lots of prayer!!!

They found out that Madamn Antoine had five children… two of which died during childbirth! So, this makes her fourth child!

Our wonderful midwives want to start a Teaching Program in Peyi Pouri once a month to prevent needless deaths. This will save lives!!! We will encourage this mother to come to our Mothers Teaching Center!
