Baby Elijah is doing well and receiving excellent medical care that is being sponsored by Richard Hotes and the Hotes Foundation. His loving “host family” is Lisa and Robert Hoye, whom we have never met, but whom we deeply admire. Baby Elijah was left at the gate of our Love A Child Orphanage. He was abandoned by his mother and had several major diseases. Baby Elijah also suffered from severe malnutrition and soon developed a hydrocephalic head. He had several surgeries in Haiti to put in shunts, but his condition did not improve and he continued to have seizures.
