We praise God, and we are thankful to “you,” our partners, who save “many little lives,” every day!! There are so many “miracle stories” that come to us each day! Most stories are from our “Jesus Healing  Center Clinic” and our “Malnutrition Center.” Malnutrition is a “silent killer” of babies and toddlers here in Haiti. They come with “Marasmus Malnutrition” and “Kwashiorkor Malnutrition!” Kwashiorkor Malnutrition is brought on in children due to protein deficiency, which causes “fluid retention.” The child may “look fat and healthy,” but he is not! Haitian mothers want “fat-looking babies,” because they think they are healthy and more beautiful!

Marasmus Malnutrition is caused by the lack of protein, carbs and fat, etc. They have muscle waste and “the face of an old man!” Many toddlers lose their hair. With wonderful doctors,  nurses, workers, and the “right kinds of food” for their Malnutrition, the babies and toddlers will return to their normal weight, for their age!

Baby Geome recovered so quickly on his new diet that his mother barely recognized him, as he was playing in the “toy truck!!” Thank you, partners! You may not realize this, but “you” are saving little lives every day, here in Haiti! May God continue to use your hands, your feet, your heart, your prayers, and your sacrifices to save little lives!! Thank you, and may “All of Heaven Bless You!”
