Baby Guilna’s Story…

Haiti is a country in great despair. Mothers die, fathers abandon children because they have no job, and often children are left with a poor relative, who now have “one more mouth to feed.” It is easy for us in the U.S. “not to understand.” We have people invading our Borders and showing up in nice clothes, jackets, etc. I have yet to see “one malnourished child” coming across the Border!

This baby is “Guilna.” She is 16 months old. She was brought by her aunt, who is raising her, to our Jesus Healing Center. Her mother died when she was just two weeks old. She has severe malnutrition and weighs 6.2 kg. Our doctor immediately sent her to our Malnutrition Clinic. (She also has some other medical complications.) She will be put on Plumpy Nut and special milk that comes from overseas. After this, we will be sending her home with some of the Feed My Starving Children food! In a short time, you will not even recognize this little toddler.

Thank you, partners. Each day, you are saving little toddlers and children from certain death. Great is your reward in Heaven and many blessings here on earth! We love you!
