Disaster Mobile Medical Clinic in Dumont

Back from Dumont – 10-20-16

Update: Disaster Mobile Medical Clinic in Dumont, Southern Haiti
We returned today from a long, long drive back from Southern Haiti. Our team of 24 including: older orphaned children who translated, drivers who did security, and a team from the States, all did a fantastic job under the worst conditions imaginable. We used a church which had the roof blown off, and instead of a crowd of about “400,” we ended up with about 1,000! The heat was unbearable, and then it began to rain! The poor disaster victims of the hurricane stood in line in the rain, and waited for help. We cared for hundreds (will have the numbers tomorrow) and distributed buckets filled with towels, soap, water, food, toiletries, and much more. We gave out sacks of nice clothing, and “Family Medical Packs” to 120 families. Wow! Thank you partners! More to come tomorrow! Bobby and Sherry
