There may be children in the United States who “dread doing homework,” or even going to school.

Haitian kids LOVE school!! All schools demand that the children have uniforms! For poor children in the mountains, it is extremely difficult to find the money for “uniforms and books!” Then, there is the added cost of shoes!

Our “Love A Child,” kids are blessed! They know that if “we don’t have donors,” it would be impossible to pay for school, books, shoes, uniforms, etc.

Our kids start every morning with a song and a prayer. They walk to school together. The younger classes close at noon, and then, the high school children come!

Sometimes we walk to school with them.. They all say their pledge to the Haitian Flag and sing their country’s song.

The schoolteachers discipline the kids in various ways… (Most by “eye contact!” The teacher doesn’t even have to say anything… “Just that scary look,” does it! Ha!)
