A VERY TOUCHING STORY.

Psalm 27:10: “When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up.”

Thirteen-year-old Christelle Edouard, along with her four younger brothers and sisters, were abandoned over four months ago in their one-room hut in a very remote place called Belle Roche, beautiful stone. After their father died, the mother was overwhelmed with the responsibility of taking care of five hungry children and, one day, “just disappeared!”

Hubert and the faithful Love A Child team went many miles over steep hills and long paths to carry rice, beans, and oil to provide everything to make food for the next couple of weeks. Hubert is willing to go the extra mile to reach the unreached!

Perhaps the Lord will lay this burden upon your heart today to help us feed Christelle’s little family.

We cannot even imagine what she goes through each day, knowing that her mother abandoned her and her siblings. She goes into town each day and “begs for food.” If the Lord has laid this story upon your heart, please listen and obey.

Thank you for your continued help. We need to take these children “under our arms” and make sure they get fed daily.

This story has saddened our hearts.
