Since the time she was brought to us as a tiny and frightened little girl, we knew there was something different about her. She was quiet but always wanted to learn more. She came to us along with her brother and sister. It seems that their parents were killed trying to flee Haiti on one of those “overloaded Haitian boats.” They were brought to us by their aunt. All three children are good and studious kids.

Since Bianca arrived, she always wanted to be a surgeon. All the stuffed animals here received “free surgeries!” But when she hit her last grade, things changed and she wanted to be a Psychologist. She is now studying in college here in Haiti. (Note – our college kids have lost many days of not being able to attend college due to gangs on the street.) They are fighting for their education, but we have always taught them that they must “pay the price.” Please keep Bianca in your prayers. Thank you.
