A bifet is the Creole word for “closet.” Today is “clean your bifet” day here at our Love A Child Children’s Home. The boys are out picking up trash, but when they get back, we will have the “boys bifet inspection!” Ha! It should be pretty interesting. Clothing that is too small but in good condition goes into a box, and we take it to children who are very poor, so everyone is happy! Those who have “nice, clean bifets” will be able to play on the slip-and-slide that just came in on a container. We want to teach our children that working hard has good rewards, and it makes it easier to get a job in the future. So far, the winners are Mika, Mikalange, Ti Mika, and Daphline.
