The box Jackson is holding was full of medical supplies for today’s procedure. Don’t worry, it did not hurt him, it is very light. We brought everything we needed with us to the hospital so that the surgeon could install Jackson’s peritoneal catheter. After a long day, that box is now empty. The items in it were used in the surgery. The procedure was a success, and Jackson is doing very well.

Jackson will remain on hemodialysis this week, but the doctors will test the peritoneal catheter to see if everything is working correctly on Wednesday. They are trying to re-initiate peritoneal dialysis in another week or so.

Jackson did very well, and he is resting now here at the hospital. If all goes well, we will be going back to the apartment tomorrow afternoon or evening. Thanks for praying for Jackson.
