Big Dreams!

I remember the day Esther’s mother came to the gate of our house. We had recently moved to Haiti and had rented a house in the mountains. One day, a poor lady arrived at our gate with a little girl about four or five years old (Widelene), and a baby in her arms, Esther. The woman was very thin and very sick. The woman’s name was Madamn Jesula. She said that she knew she was dying. We sent her to a hospital and found out that she was hungry, anemic, and extremely frail. We paid her hospital bills. When she was released, we took her and the two children into our orphanage.

Esther has finished Philo, the highest grade. She loves to cook, put puzzles together, and fix her hair! Her dream is to be a veterinarian. Since she cannot go to college in Haiti for this, she will have to go to the Dominican Republic or Canada. We are making this a matter of prayer. Please remember Esther in your prayers. She has a “dream!”
