Our “Big Birthday Bash!” Tonight, we had a “Birthday Party” at Epidor Restaurant for nine of our Haitian children! The last time I went to the States, I bought cake mix, etc., because there are no grocery stores nearby now, because of the gangs. We took all the kids from our orphanage to the restaurant where they got the best food!! The children really enjoyed it! Each child got some money in an envelope, which they will save! The food was wonderful!!

All the children sat quietly waiting, and then talked, and had a great time! They told us how good the food was! Afterward, we went to load the kids up on our bus, but it wasn’t working. (Maybe it needs a new battery.) We got another truck, the kids piled in, and we drove back to our orphanage to have some birthday cake!

Life is full of “memories!” Someone once said, “When you go through life, make good memories!” Tonight, that’s what we did! Thanks to you, all our wonderful friends and partners for everything you do for Haiti’s children.
