Breaking news! Yesterday we started clearing and preparing the land for our new Birthing Center! Today, Mark Ostrander and our Haitian construction guys are working hard! Thank you Joker, our Dominican friend and worker, for a great job on the front-end loader. Mothers will have a nice place to deliver their babies and save lives at no cost to them. We are debating, whether we should charge around a dollar to give the mothers a sense of pride and dignity? Of course, if they can’t afford a dollar, we would sponsor the mother. Praise the Lord! We have a matching grant of $250,000 that would double every dollar you would give! The cost of the Birthing Center is $500,000 just to build it; faith does not know we don’t have the money!
