I was reading some scriptures this morning from Jeremiah 17:5-8. We can do some things in life that will turn into blessings…

Jeremiah 17: 7-8:
“Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall be as a tree, planted by the rivers of water, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful (worry), in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit!!!” Wow!

Now, let’s see what happens when we trust in man, instead of the Lord…
Verse 5…  “Thus saith the Lord, Cursed be the man that trusted in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord. He shall be like the ‘heath’ (scrub) in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh… but he shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, ‘in a salt land,’ which is not inhabited.”

That says it all! Let’s put all of our trust in the Lord! He wants to carry all our burdens and our heavy loads… let Him!!!
