The area is called “Bois-des-Mieux,” but the locals call it Boulay. If there ever was a village in the “middle-of-no-where,” it is Boulay! There are no buildings, no mud huts, no trees, nothing… Yet, the inhabitants here live in the middle of this abandoned “dry riverbed.” Actually, they all sleep on the ground with a small flashlight, in case of a “flash flood” from the mountains.
They had never had anyone come to bring them food. So, we gave out 200 tickets to mothers who came to get food. We also fed the children in this area. It was amazing, because we fed the children under a ripped, dirty tarp, and there were about 150 children. The people said, “this is our school!” Pictures are coming later with the children eating. Yum!
There are no trees in the village, no fruit trees, and nothing to eat. So, everyone goes to the dry rocky riverbed, and they crush piles of rocks to get food.
We brought one lady back who had a blind husband and three children. She was so sick, so anemic that she could hardly stand… So, we brought her back with us and took her to our Jesus Healing Center Clinic. We will see how we can help her.
We wish to thank our partners, who give little, what they have, our widows, and those who give more… When we put all our “sacrifices” together, we can do more for the Lord and we can feed more hungry children!
Thank you so much, partners, for your giving!!! Today, again, you planted in “good soil!”
We love you,
Bobby and Sherry
