The Haitians say, “hope makes us live.” When we bring food to them, they know that Jesus cares about them, and they have “hope.” Haitians are strong, durable, people and they can survive when no one else can… but, when there is no food, their hope is gone.

Some mothers have even sold “one of their children,” in order to feed the others. This is the village of Cotin. When we first came to Cotin, it had nothing… no school, no church, nothing. With the help of our friend David George and his partners, we have a beautiful church and school. Everyone is so thankful for their church and school!!!

But, the people and children still suffer from hunger. When we do not have any more of the “Feed My Starving Children,” rice, we must buy white Mega Rice, and black beans. You can see the big smile on the face of the first little girl with her food!!!

Feeding the hungry speaks “louder than words.” Bobby and I are “nothing,” only two people the Lord can use. Nothing would be done without “your help.” We thank the Lord for you, our partners, and friends who make these feeding programs possible and you are the ones who put the smiles on these faces!
