Building A Good Life

When we first moved to Haiti, we were in an area called Mt. Noire, on top of a mountain. One day, a lady appeared at our gate with a baby and a toddler. She was sick and crying. She said, “I’m dying, and I just want to know that I found someone to take my children.” Her name was Madamn Jesula. After sending her to the hospital, we found out that she was hungry and anemic. We took care of her and brought her and the two children to our orphanage.

Esther grew up wanting to be a vet! She is 19 years old and has finished school, but there are no “vet” colleges here in Haiti. I told her that she must learn Spanish online, and then, God will make a way for her to go to college in the Dominican Republic! We believe each child God has sent us needs to be educated so that they can have a good life, make a good living, and serve the Lord! Esther has a bright future.
