SOUTH HAITI

“Water is life!” A small amount of water has become a rare commodity for many families living in the village of Remond, located in the commune of Petit Trou de Nippes, in South Haiti.  A family must walk up to three hours round-trip to get a little water. To get this water, both children and adults suffer greatly. Many times in the village, children even go two to three days without food because there is no water to cook with.

Our Love A Child team has gone several times to bring water to some families in this village. But this is not enough to help the families suffering from the lack of water. There is a very important need for three water wells to be dug in South Haiti in areas “where no water is.” I have been asked several times if “Water For Life” can come and put in three wells and pumps, so that families will have water, and also for their cattle and small farms.

“Water for Life” must come a long way from Cayes through the mountains to our three different locations. The cost is $43,000 total: $14,300 per well to pump. Please pray that the Lord will supply this need. Thank you for your support and prayers. Water is coming by faith to South Haiti! Thank you, friends and partners!
