Those of you who have never lived in Haiti, may not know how serious the problem with worms can be. This young girl is Fedna. She lives here in our neighborhood of Fond Parisien. This photo was taken when her mother brought her to us, not knowing why her stomach was so swollen! We simply gave her worm medicine, and later vitamins. She is now a pretty young girl, attending our school here in Fond Parisien. I have seen worms in Haiti grow many, many feet long! I have seen them come out of children’s mouths, noses, bottoms, and even the knuckles of one of the ladies who worked for me…  Worms are easy to treat with worm medicine, as we treated Fedna. We deworm all the children in our Love A Child Schools, and this is a real blessing. Sherry
