“I will work for food…”
Have you ever seen people on the side of the street or at an intersection in the States with a sign reading: “I will work for food?” We want to give them money, but we are always afraid they will buy drugs, liquor or cigarettes instead of food. Here in Haiti, poor children really “work for food.” They gather sticks to sell, they carry heavy loads on their heads and do other things to try to earn a few pennies for food, and they do this every day, just to survive. Thank you, partners, for the sacrifices you have made to feed these children. Bobby and Sherry
