Last night, our Love A Child kids and staff had a wonderful Christmas and time opening gifts. The little boys got some trucks, and of course there were dolls for the little girls. Everyone was so happy! Our children spent a lot of time organizing a Christmas Concert for many of the children in our neighborhood, as well as gave gifts to them. They re-enacted the story of the birth of Jesus.

When we went back to the orphanage, the older girls gave us a special gift. They had one of our pictures made into a large poster and on the back of it they wrote, “Love Is Something You Do.” They are all so very thankful to God for rescuing them and putting them into a “real family.”

Special thanks to David and Angie George for being such a blessing, and to Kim and Jesse Ostrander for helping us get some special things for the children. (There is no Walmart in Haiti!) It was a joy to see the happy faces of children who had been “abandoned” at our front gate! God bless you all and have a wonderful New Year!
