“Christmas in January.”
These wonderful gifts for our Love A Child Children’s Home, were donated to us by our sweet friends at Church on the Move in Branford, Florida. We met Pastor Michelle Riels and her husband “Boomer” a while ago. They are just precious, and so is their work. They offered to make us Christmas boxes, and send other gifts for our Haitian children for Christmas, but unfortunately, everything was held up in Haiti’s Customs! It was just released yesterday, so we had another “Christmas Party” here at Love A Child! It was FUN! The church made each child a “hand-painted” shoebox with all kinds of goodies. The kids all got those giant “bubble blowers” and our dog Samson had a great time, “eating them!” Ha! The church sent flip-flops, toiletry bags and so much more. We could not believe all the stuff they sent, and what really touched our hearts was all the trouble they went to in order to make everything “beautiful and fun” for the kids! But, “the party’s not over yet.” It will continue Monday evening! “Love Is Something You Do!” Thank you, Pastor Michelle, and all the folks at Church on the Move!
