“Coach Moses”

Yesterday Moses asked me if I could get him a whistle. I, of course, asked why he needed one, and his reply was, “Well, I want to blow it every morning at 4:00 AM so I can make the kids work out.” I thought, well okay! I never dreamed he would really do it!!!

This morning at 4:00 AM, I heard the loudest whistle blowing throughout the orphanage! Before I knew it, all the kids were headed outside to “do sports.” Moses had two groups going. One group were fast runners who could run all the way around the property, and the other group was the “slower” group who had to run only half of the property!! I laughed so hard at him and all the other kids! They made it three laps around the property before Moses let them stop!

Moses never fails to surprise me! You never know what he is going to come up with next! He is one of the biggest leaders I have ever seen, and there is no doubt he will go VERY far in life! I’m so proud of him and all the other kids! Running an orphanage is always very “interesting.” HA! Have a great day. Kaeli
