This is Colin.  He was brought to our clinic because his father had gotten angry with him and held his hand in hot charcoal from a fire. By the time we saw him, the skin was already falling off. We found out that he lived with his stepmother and father and there were nine kids in the family. His stepmother had just cooked a bowl of food to share with all the kids. Colin was still hungry and reached his hand in to get the crumbs of rice. His father committed this evil act to punish him.
