Colin… You can see him here washing his hands with Clorox water after he and his “brothers” finished picking up the trash.
Colin is 11 years old. He came to us when his father held his hand down in the hot charcoals of a fire. Colin (then, about six) had reached his hand into the family cooking pot to scrape the sides of it for the burned kernels of rice. His fathers called him a “thief,” and decided to “teach him a lesson.”
We took care of Colin and called the Department of Social Services here in Haiti and they legally gave him to us. Colin is a good worker and I know he has a great future ahead! We love Colin and all the children here! A big “thank you,” to all our partners! Sherry
