Colin is doing well now. He is happy, in school and eating three full meals a day. He is so different now than he was when we found him…a little boy with a horribly burned hand. He had wanted “one more handful of rice” from the large family cooking pot, and he reached his little hand in to grab some rice. His Voodoo father was so angered that he held Colin’s hand in the hot charcoal and burned him! We legally took him away from his father! That one handful of food almost cost him his hand. Hungry children will go to any extreme, and face any danger just to eat. Thank you partners for saving another life! Sherry
