This is the same area that Sherry and I made through on Monday only by a miracle. Today the shooting, roadblocks… horror is beyond words. This is not our regular sweet Haitian people or families. Last night PNH attempted to clear barricades from Carrefour Marassa and Croix des Bouquets; Rony Colin Magistrar and gang lieutenant, publicly broadcast on loudspeakers police positions; gangs opened fire from houses. It is a guerrilla warfare tactic used in the ME and requires house to house searches, something it is unlikely PNH are trained in, but something we know Senator Youri Latortue is trained in!
