A WONDERFUL DAY DISTRIBUTING FOOD!
I’ve already sent you an earlier post with some pictures this morning. I just wanted to send a few more. A picture says a thousand words!
At a time when food is a crisis in Haiti, I’ve never seen the Haitians and the missionaries so thankful. We gave out thousands of Feed My Starving Children meals. In addition, we had to buy rice. We gave out new eyeglasses from MAP International, clothes, toys, masking tape, painters tape, disposable trays, stuffed animals, and new PET (Personal Energy Transportation) bikes for the handicapped. We want to thank World Vision and others who help.
We want to thank Feed My Starving Children, Joyce Meyer Ministries – Hand of Hope, and Jentezen Franklin (Kingdom Connection) and everyone who has given to make all this possible down to the widow’s mite.
I want to thank all of our children who worked very hard loading all the trucks; all of our girls serving those who came “home-made cake, snacks, and drinks,” plus a lot more. We do this as a gift to all the people who come. They can have fellowship, and praise the Lord together. I very much enjoy meeting them each month and serving them. Sherry, along with Daniel, worked hard signing the folks in and organizing.
All three of our forklifts broke down today! Our semi-trailer which hauls our food from customs is broken again. We are praying for newer equipment to help feed the children.
