This is Daniella. She and her twin brother Daniel have been at the Love A Child Children’s Home since they were babies. Their mother was carrying triplets and went to a local hospital to deliver her infants, but she was turned away at gunpoint during a military coup d’état. The poor mom went back to her mud hut and delivered the babies on a dirt floor. The mom and one baby died during childbirth, but Daniella and Daniel made it. Their father wasn’t able to care for them and the babies were very skinny and malnourished when we found them. We knew we had to bring them back to our children’s home to save their lives. Today, Daniella loves going to school and spending time with her sisters in our huge Love A Child family. She is smart and loves helping her little brothers and sisters with their homework.
