Daphlina (Daphline) was born “far into the mountains” of Savaan Roche. This village is so far in the mountains that you would not understand, unless we drove you up there!! When her mother, Jolicia, died, shortly after childbirth, her father “gave her away” to her aunt (who already had nine children!) It was then that her aunt decided to find an orphanage… and here she is!

Daphlina is 17 years old and will be in 12th grade. She works in the kitchen with our cook, Nini, and wants to be a professional masseuse, or massage therapist! She has a “gift” for this. Daphlina is a devout Christian, and we are so proud of her.
