Her name is Daphline Louis, but sometimes we call her Daphlina. She was born in the mountains of Savaan Roche. Her mother, Jolucia, died shortly after she was born. Her father gave her to her aunt to raise, but her husband, Daphine’s Uncle, had recently been killed, and this put so much stress on her aunt, that she almost had a nervous breakdown. She had nine children!

So, both Daphline and her cousin came to live with us. She loves school, praise dancing, and playing with her sister. She is now 14 and in 7th grade, but guess what, she still loves to “jump rope” with her sisters! She is a helpful girl, cooking, ironing, cleaning, anything! She’s a peacemaker! Her nickname is “mosquito!!” So far, she is thinking about becoming a pharmacist! We can always use one! We all love Daphline. She is growing into a beautiful young lady!
