I woke up in the middle of the night last night and walked to the kitchen to get some water. The whole house was dark, but I could see a little light downstairs. I heard someone talking, but there was nobody talking back… I had no idea who it was or what they were doing. I quietly walked down the stairs and found Davidson (Jonathan Noel), one of our older boys from our Love A Child Children’s Home, doing math repetitions. He was repeating it to himself trying to remember the steps. I said, “Davidson, what are you doing up so late, you have school in the morning.” He began to tell me how he was having trouble with his math, and the only way to perfect it was to practice the problems his professor had given him. So, there he was in the middle of the night, very quiet and determined to make sure he understood his work.

I am so proud of Davidson and his hard work. He has come so far in the past year. I always tell them if they work hard then their hard work will pay off! This is an example! His hard work will pay off! We love Davidson and know good things are coming for him! Love, Kaeli
