You can see this picture of Dieuferly with a baby in his arms. When we first found Dieuferly in the mountains of Haiti, he was in his mother’s arms. He had horrible, clubbed feet. At that time, there were no doctors in Haiti doing this surgery. But the U.S. Military was in Haiti at that time, and they did the surgery, but they were not professionals at clubfoot surgery. Due to that, he had many problems with his feet and suffered for years. He was sent to a hospital in Haiti that made his feet much worse.

About two years ago, we sent Dieuferly to a surgeon in the Dominican Republic. It was a success!

Today, Dieuferly is our main cameraman. He and two other Love A Child kids have a little restaurant business and are doing well.

This little baby in his arms is from our Malnutrition Center. The baby was the same size as Dieuferly when we brought him nine hours by mule from the mountains. God always has the best plan for our lives!
