You may remember this little sweetie! This is Dimelia and she has been at our Love A Child Orphanage since she was about four-years-old. She came to us severely burned on her neck and chest area. Dimelia fell into a charcoal fire and was burned by the coals and boiling cornmeal. She was so sad and never smiled when she arrived at the orphanage. She could not raise her hands above her head and she wasn’t able to turn her neck. We loved her, fed her and she began to smile. Over the years, she has been to the United States for several surgeries to help with the burned areas on her body. She is in the States now recovering from a major skin graft surgery in early July. She is being cared for by Lori Hodel and her family. This host family is taking great care of Dimelia. Thank you Lori for taking such good care of our sweetie.  Now, Dimelia smiles all the time, she helps out with Mobile Medical Clinics, she can turn her head and raise her arms up high to praise the Lord.
